About Cerberus
To support their work, Insight had created its own bespoke MVP platform called Cerberus, which was specifically designed to help financial institutions remain fully compliant with the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR) rules. The platform provides real-time compliance activity monitoring and reporting. In addition, it offers simplified staff certification management, as well as mapping and tracking of governance roles and responsibilities.
The Challenge
Insight needed a local partner in East Anglia to deploy, manage, support, and enhance Cerberus. The partner had to execute these tasks with the highest security standards because of the sensitive data involved, while ensuring robustness and scalability to support numerous users across multiple clients.
The Solution
Maly quickly grasped the Cerberus design and subsequently engineered a secure solution to host it on AWS. After the deployment, they promptly established the necessary operational and support services to ensure a robust and reliable system. Furthermore, Maly developed a “sandpit” test environment for the bespoke development and testing of new features, including enhanced audit reporting, improved email certification, and better notifications for overdue compliance steps.
